Everything You Need To Know About Pressure Washing

Welcome back to my blog! Now that we have purchased the majority of our furniture and home decor, my partner and I are focusing on doing some “spring cleaning”… summer edition! As you may imagine, the outside of our home has QUICKLY gotten dirty and stained due to the move, new visitors, and of course pollen/Georgia weather! After our family friend kindly suggested that we should consider pressure washing the area, we quickly called Peach State Pressure Wash. My mom has used Peach State Pressure Wash for years, so I knew that we were going to be in good hands.

Even though my mom highly recommended Peach State Pressure Washing (PSPW), I always do my own research to learn about a company before hiring them. PSPW is a pressure washing company offering residential and commercial services in the inward/metro-Atlanta. They are Veteran and locally owned and operated by Atlanta-natives, which I found to be very interesting! According to their website, they “believe in building a socially conscious business and nurturing meaningful relationships with clients across the diverse pockets of this city that we call home. It is this commitment to our job, to people and to our community that keep our clients coming back for more.” After our first wash, my partner and I signed up for the Peachy Clean Maintenance program, which offers us regular maintenance cleaning so that we don’t have to constantly schedule appointments for any of our pressure washing, gutter cleaning or window washing needs. Peach State Pressure Washing offers the following services: home and driveway, fleet washing, gutter cleaning, window washing, fence and deck restoration, fence and deck staining, concrete restoration, and maintenance.

So now that you know a little more about the company, I’d like to talk about our personal thoughts on the company. For one, they are very accommodating and always respect our time. They pay very close attention to detail, and I never had to worry about their quality of work changing once we joined the Peachy Clean maintenance program. I was worried that if we agreed to a regular maintenance cleaning service that the company might not always give the best service each and every time. Luckily, we haven’t had any issues at all! In fact, the more often they come the more they are able to preserve our outside area. Window washing was a huge pain for us due to the height of our windows, but they always make our windows and gutters sparkling clean. As a member, each service is pre-scheduled throughout the year so I never have to worry about them not showing up on time. Since we are already on the calendar, it makes us a priority customer as far as scheduling. The best part of their Peachy Clean program is that it can be customized to your needs with additional add-on services and it’s automatically billed in monthly payments. Some of the add-ons include: pool area, retaining wall, pergola, steps, patio, deck, porch, shed, fire pit, decorative items (statues, water fountains, etc.), gutter oxidization treatment, outdoor furniture, playground equipment, and deck staining. I didn’t realize the importance of pressure washing until I started to see the incredible results from our program. Pressure washing removes health concerns related to pollen, pollutants, dust, dirt, mildew, algae and bird droppings. I noticed a huge difference in my allergies and asthma after getting our home pressure washed! can all lead to negative health consequences, such as trouble breathing, allergies or diseases. Also, I may add that it made our garage area less slippery, which is a huge deal for me as I have a bad knee – it removed all of the lingering grease and mildew!
